The “Fouta” is Hammam linen woven from 100% cotton. They are known for their authentic craftsmanship and only get softer with each washing. Get the hand towels or throws and use them for generous napkins and table cloths. Colors range from white, ecru, stripes of lavender, green, pinks and browns. Gotta see them at Fraîche!

High Point Treasures
Monday, April 26th, 2010Last week started with a great trip to High Point. The International Furniture Market truly draws the furniture industry leaders to downtown High Point each Fall and Spring for the latest in design and merchandising. Trends follow the fashion industry, with European markets in the lead. Lavender is still hot and how can linen get any better looking. Those taupes, oatmeals and mousey grays upholstered on “French” driftwood-colored frames set off the perfect dining chairs, lounge chairs and sofas. Reclaimed wood continues to surface and Sustainable products are the buzz word in many showrooms. We saw Pamela Kline of Traditions touting her wonderful fine linens. She has some super soft Organic sheeting. They are not bleached and are a beautiful natural cotton product. You can find them at Fraîche! Michael at Somerset Bay and Modern History had some great new pieces that are coming to Fraîche soon. Gotta get ready for the next unveiling at Fraîche. More new things moving in tomorrow.
