This week’s featured piece is the Hampton Bar Cart in Turquoise. This chic metal cart features geometric designs beneath a beveled glass top. Sturdy casters support the cart and add mobility, making it perfectly portable. Its powder-coated finish is perfect for indoor or outdoor festivities!

Earlier in 2012, The Pantone Color Institute named “Tangerine Tango” its color of the year. Ever since, we’ve been seeing this juicy hue everywhere, from eye-catching jewelry to bold home accents! We especially love the papier mâché Artichoke Lamp, below, from Stray Dog Designs. Tangerine is an energetic color that is sure to make any living space more lively. And on the far right, this Cilantro-Orange Kitchen Candle by Lafco has a strong scent that complements its super-bright color.

Though less saturated than tangerine, chartreuse is no less bright. Chartreuse lies somewhere between yellow and green on the color wheel, and has a jewel-tone look reminiscent of peridot. Used sparingly, it can really make a room pop. And since the color green stimulates the appetite, chartreuse is perfect for the kitchen or dining room. If you’re feeling bold, go all the way with yellow-green walls in your kitchen. For just an accent, try these yellow & green dinner napkins (right) on for size.
